A traditional boxing tournament called "Strandja" ended in the capital of Bulgaria - Sofia city.
News.Az reports with reference Boxing Federation of Azerbaijan that our team won 2 gold and 1 silver medal at the tournament.
In the decisive battle Elvin Isayev (60 kg) won a victory over Armenian boxer Samvel Barseghyan and rose to the highest step of the podium.
Lorenzo Sotomayor (64 kg) repeated the success of his teammate. In the final member of the national team was victorius over the Uzbek athlete Faziliddin Gaibnazarov(3: 0).
Elena Vistropova (64 kg), performing as part of the women's team won the second place. In the final European champion was defeated by the representative of Sweden Agnes Aleksiusson (0:2).
The tournament was attended by 221 boxer from 35 countries. The tournament was held in preparation for the European games "Baku-2015". In the judiciary Azerbaijan was presented by Jeykhun Gadirli.
