Baku 2015 opens press accreditation for Boxing and Wrestling test events

The Great Silk Way Elite Boxing Tournament will take place from 15 – 19 April at Crystal Hall, with the Azerbaijan Wrestling Cup held at the newly upgraded Heydar Aliyev Arena from 16 – 19 April. Both venues will be the home of the two sports during this summer’s inaugural European Games.

More than 90 boxers from 14 teams are expected to compete in the men’s and women’s competitions at the Great Silk Way Elite Boxing Tournament. The Azerbaijan Wrestling Cup will see junior and cadet wrestlers (under 19) from several countries compete in both Greco-Roman and Freestyle disciplines.

All press attending these events must be accredited, and press accreditation will allow access to both events. Accreditation applications will be accepted from Friday 13 March, with the deadline for applications being Friday 3 April.
