Azerbaijan opens its first “pet hotel”

If you are going on a business trip and have no-one to leave your pet with, a pet hotel that has opened in Baku can help you.
Cats, dogs and hares receive five-star services at the hotel. They can have a bath, haircut or even pedicure. The hotel also vaccinates the animals if the owner wishes so.
There is no time-limit for keeping pets at the hotel as long as you can pay. And the rate is no cheap, at least by local standards.
Owners have to pay at least 15 manat (16 dollars) a day for a cat and 25 manat for a dog.
The rate includes feeding. Cats are served rice porridge for breakfast, fillet for dinner and dry food for supper.
The hotel also has a medical unit in case your pets need medical treatment.
