Tofig Yagublu temporarily released

Tofig Yagublu, the imprisoned deputy chairman of Musavat Party, has been released for seven days to attend the funeral of his daughter Nargis Yagublu, lawyer Nemet Kerimli told APA.

T. Yagublu's daughter Nargis Yagublu died in Tomsk, Russia on April 23. She reportedly suffered from hepatitis and fell into a coma a few days ago. Her body will be brought to Baku today.
 
Tofig Yagublu was arrested over Ismayilli incidents that took place on January 23, 2013. Shaki Court of Grave Crimes sentenced Tofig Yagublu to 5-year imprisonment.
 
Yagublu is serving his sentence in jail#134 of the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice.
