It’s been on wrists for just over a week and Apple are selling them quicker than they can make them.
The Californian tech giant is hoping to finally make the smartwatch a must-have gadget, but with reports of poor battery, durability and complicated user experience, is the Apple Watch actually flawed?
Daily Star Online is lucky enough to have one of these new gadgets strapped to our wrist and we’ve uncovered the truth about the Apple Watch.
So here’s our opinion on whether these top seven myths about the device are true or false.
Having worn the Apple Watch for almost a week the battery has, so far, impressed us.
On average we've had almost 50% left in the tank after a full day on our wrist and having to put it through a full 24-hour we found the Watch still had 30% of battery life.
Clearly, the more you use it the more power you'll get through but with average usage battery life shouldn't be a problem.
Yes, you will have to charge it when you head to bed, but with Apple’s new MagSafe connector, this is super-simple and it fills with juice incredibly quickly.
If the battery does run low there is the option to switch on the power reserve mode, which will give you days of life without going near a plug.
Until now smartwatches have had a very geeky reputation.
Apple have a spent a lot of time making sure this device looks good enough to wear and it’s by far the best looking smartwatch you can buy.
To make sure every taste is catered for, Apple have created a huge range of styles and sizes, so you shouldn't have too much trouble finding one you like.
The Apple watch oozes style and is certainly the least geeky smartwatch currently on the market.
