EBRD to approve action plan next month to sell manat bonds

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is going to approve an action plan next month to sell its debut bonds in manat, said Neil McCain, head of the bank’s Baku office.

McCain said EBRD is preparing to sign a memorandum of understanding with Azerbaijan’s Central Bank on the planned debt sale in the Azeri currency.

He didn’t say when the bank plans to issue the bonds or how big the size will be.
