(Baku Daily) - Turxan Karimov (Qarishqa), a reporter with the Azerbaijani service of Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, was briefly detained by police today.

Karimov was detained by two plainclothes men at around 11:00 today while leaving home. 

He was driven off in a black car.

The Interior Ministry was not immediately available for comment.

Karimov is known for reports criticizing government corruption. He is also an active user of social media.
