Russia and Armenia establish operative communication channels

Russia and Armenia have established operative communication channels related to media activity in each other's territory, the Russian Ambassador to Armenia, Sergey Kopyrkin, told TASS in an interview.

According to him, there is an agreement between the two countries on cooperation in the field of mass telecommunications signed on December 30, 2020: "Within the framework of this document, bilateral consultations were held on December 14 between the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications, and Mass Media of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of Armenia."

The ambassador said that during the negotiations, the Russian delegation listened to the arguments of the Armenian side and noted their concerns. According to him, an agreement was reached on the establishment of operative communication channels in order to resolve possible disagreements between the countries in the spirit of friendly relations.
