Russia’s Uralvagonzavod has completed the delivery of 100 new T-90S tanks to Azerbaijan.
The last batch of the tanks was delivered a few months ago, Uralvagonzavod said.
"We are very pleased,” an unnamed company official told Azeri Defense, a military news portal based in Baku. "Azerbaijani servicemen quickly learned how to use T-90s. As far as we know, the new tanks have already been used in military drills.”
Azerbaijan ordered the tanks several years ago.
Russia is the main arms supplier to Azerbaijan.
Azerbaijan also buys weapons from Israel and Turkey and produces its own weapons.
