Russia imports about 20 million eggs to from Azerbaijan, Türkiye

Russia had imported almost 20 million eggs were into from Azerbaijan and Türkiye as of February 12, reported from the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision(Rosselkhoznadzor).

"As of February 12, 19.9 million edible eggs were imported to Russia from Azerbaijan and Türkiye,” Rosselkhoznadzor says.

The federal service notes that from February 5, 12, 2.4 million pieces of food eggs from Azerbaijan and 4.1 million pieces from Türkiye. The imports were made via the Yarag-Kazmalyar checkpoint for sale in Russia.
