The Russian Armed Forces shelled Ukraine’s Kherson city and the Kherson Oblast, subsequently killing three and injuring five, the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office said, reported from RBC-Ukraine.

"On May 2, Russian troops shelled the city of Kherson and several villages in the Belozersky settlement of the oblast," the office said.

According to preliminary data, the Russian Armed Forces shelled the civilian population and launched airstrikes. In particular, civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged, including residential buildings, utility structures and vehicles.
