The Armenia-Azerbaijan peace agreement should be based on long-term, sustainable solutions, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin told RIA Novosti.

According to him, the parties understand the need to ensure lasting peace: "Russia supports peaceful dialogue, helps to find points of contact, agreements, and compromises suitable for the parties."

Galuzin said that the tripartite statements are a road map for normalization between Baku and Yerevan.
