Russia's ambassador to US: 'Ukraine's accession to NATO is unacceptable for us'
09.04.2024 14:00
Ukraine's accession to NATO is unacceptable for us. This is a threat to Russia's national security, Russian Ambassador to the United States, Anatoly Antonov, told journalists.

He said that Russia's victory is necessary: "Only politicians who are ignorant of the fundamental interests of the Russian Federation can expect us to accept Kyiv's entry into the bloc that is hostile to us. Dissemination by US officials of statements about Ukraine’s membership in the alliance only confirms that unconditional victory of the Russian Armed Forces on the battlefield is the only right option for us."
