Scholz: EU to intensify sanctions against Russia
The EU will intensify sanctions against Russia in the near future, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said at the Bundestag on February 8.
"The European Union will toughen sanctions against Russia again - by the anniversary of the start of the war,” he said.
He noted that this will be a ‘clear signal’ to the Russian side that its intentions in Ukraine are not successful.
