The selection was carried out with participation of the coaches from “Elite Training” project of AFFA and sporting directors assigned by AFFA to Topaz Premier League clubs. During the selection rounds, the main attention was paid to technique and skills of children.Aliyev Khayal, Maharramli Samir and Abdurrahmanov Zeyneddin who participated in the training sessions in Manchester last year, excelled themselves again by demonstrating good results and passed this year’s selection rounds as well. The main goal of the soccer school is to reveal young talents among children aged 8-12, who live in the various regions of Azerbaijan, and contribute to development of their football skills. Selection to the “Manchester United” Summer Soccer School has come to an end
The “Manchester United” Summer Soccer School organized by Bakcell – the First Mobile Operator and the Leading Mobile Internet Provider in Azerbaijan together with AFFA, has come to an end. 32 children (10 from Baku, 9 from Ganja, 3 from Gakh, 7 from Sumgait, 3 from Tovuz) who managed to successfully pass the selection round will participate in the training sessions, which will be conducted on June 2-6 at the Baku PFC Base by the coaches of the “Manchester United” Soccer School. 5 children who demonstrate exceptional results during the Summer Soccer School will travel to Manchester.
