Incredible footage of young Siamese twins conjoined at the waist and walking along together has emerged.

The twins from inland Nakhon Sawan in Thailand, about two and a half hours north of Bangkok, are believed to be six or seven-year-old girls Pin and Pan.

Conjoined at the waist with two legs and four arms, Pin and Pan are shown walking away from the person filming, who is giggling, as they walk along together.

They walk away from the camera in what appears to be a market, until one of the twins eventually turns to smile at the person filming.

The two girls then hand a note to a nearby adult and turn to walk back the way they came, as someone, presumed to be the person filming, speaks to them in Thai.

Similar footage of the Siamese twins emerged around a year ago, and Pin and Pan appear to have grown very little in that time.

However, the twins look to be in good health. The overall survival rate of conjoined twins is somewhere between 5 and 25 per cent, according to the University of Maryland Medical Centre.

In 2013, Red Cross visited the conjoined twins in Nakhon Sawan and donated a relief kit, pillows, blankets, a mattress and financial support.
