Shmyhal: Up to 80 settlements under threat after emergency at Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant

About 80 settlements in Ukraine are at risk of flooding after an emergency at the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal wrote on his Telegram channel, reported from Ukrainian media.

He noted that measures are being taken to evacuate people.

"There is a threat of flooding up to 80 settlements... We are engaged in the evacuation of residents of flooded areas,” he wrote.
