The international Karabakh Business Forum will be held in Shusha, the cultural capital of Azerbaijan.

In addition to Azerbaijani officials, Baghdad Amreyev, Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States, Rifat Hisarjioglu, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkiye, as well as heads of chambers of commerce and industry of Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan, as well as representatives of state institutions and various organizations of these countries will participate in the forum.

Various inter-agency meetings will also be held at the business forum. Meetings will be organized in 7 sectors. The discussions will include consultations on construction (green infrastructure), agriculture and food, renewable energy, light industry (textiles, machinery, spare parts), tourism, mining and information and communication technologies. Discussions on new collaborations and investments in the agreed areas will be held.

According to the information, Turkish companies will be closely involved in the forum. In this sense, it is known that various negotiations regarding renewable energy are ongoing. Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Fatih Donmez, who was on a visit to Azerbaijan earlier, made an announcement in this regard.

"Azerbaijan has serious goals related to renewable energy. There are green energy targets, especially in Karabakh, which has been freed from occupation. Officials of companies with experience in this field in Turkiye will hold meetings and hold discussions in Azerbaijan," the minister noted.
