Azerbaijan’s state energy company SOCAR produced more crude oil and natural gas in the first nine months year-on-year.

Oil production grew to 6.3 million tons from 6.2 million tons a year earlier, the company said on its website.

Gas output rose to 5.5 billion cubic meters from 5.3 billion cubic meters.

Azerbaijan’s total oil production in the January-September period fell to 32.1 million tons from 32.5 million tons, the State Statistics Committee said.

Production of marketable gas grew to 13.8 billion cubic meters from 13.1 billion cubic meters.
