SOCAR keen to acquire gas station network in Turkey OMV

As a part of the company`s investment strategy, State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) is keen to buy assets of the gas station network owned by the Austrian energy company OMV in Turkey.


Head of SOCAR Turkey Enerji Inc. Kanan Yavuz said SOCAR's interest in acquiring gas station in Turkey is related to the launch of the Star Refinery in Izmir.


The sale of petroleum products produced in the facility will be realized in the framework of the plan on consolidating the firm into the market.
