Azerbaijan’s state energy company SOCAR has opened a new gasoline filling station in Romania.
Built in the northern town of Bistritsa, on the Ukrainian border, it brings to 31 the total number of SOCAR’s gasoline filling stations in Romania, SOCAR said on its website.
The opening ceremony was attended by the head of SOCAR’s Romania office, local government officials and media representatives, the company said.
The filling station will offer 95 and 98 octane gasoline, as well as Diesel Euro 5 and Super Diesel. It also includes a Nar café that will offer Azerbaijani products to Romanian customers.
SOCAR said it has gasoline filling stations in 14 regions of Romania.
The company also runs a network of gasoline filling stations in Ukraine and Georgia.
