Azerbaijan’s state oil company Socar has started repairs at three units at its Heydar Aliyev refinery in the capital, Baku.

Repair work has started at the catalytic reformer, catalytic cracker and coking units, the company said in a statement on its website.

Socar said it will also close the refinery’s ED-AV-6 initial refining unit for major repairs in coming days.

Socar runs two refineries in Azerbaijan at the moment. The Heydar Aliyev refinery has a capacity of processing 160,000 barrels a day.
