Azerbaijan's state energy company SOCAR plans to launch six vacuum compressor installations at the offshore Palchig Pilpilesi field, Azernews reported on March 5. 

This measure is aimed at collecting associated gas with low pressure, SOCAR said on March 4. 

Four of these gas compressor installations will be launched at the platform No 1100, and the remaining two will be operational at the platform No 1201. 

With the launch of these installations, 150,000 cubic meters of gas emitted during the production process will be collected and shipped to shore every day.
