On Jan. 5, 2016, Standard & Poor's Ratings Services withdrew its 'BB-' long-term corporate credit rating on state-owned railway operator Azerbaijan Railways CJSC at the issuer's request.
"We had placed the rating on CreditWatch with negative implications on Dec. 11, 2015. At the time of the withdrawal, the rating remained on CreditWatch with negative implications; there was no change to the rating prior to today's withdrawal, owing to insufficient information," the agency said.
