Spain exported arms and defense equipment to Ukraine worth 133 million euros from the beginning of 2022 to June 2023, according to ABC newspaper,  reported from TASS.

According to reports on defense and dual-use materials, which were prepared by the State Secretariat for Trade, over 18 months, Spanish authorities approved the export of arms to Kyiv worth 515 million euros.

During 2022 and the first half of 2023, Madrid sent Kyiv, among other things, grenade launchers, howitzers, machine guns, mortars and other materials.

In 2022, Spanish arms exports increased by 24% compared to 2021 and exceeded 4 billion euros. At the same time, 60% of supplies went to EU or NATO member countries.
