Scotland U-21s will play a friendly match next month in Slovakia as they prepare for the Euro 2027 qualifying campaign.

Scot Gemmill's side are set to travel to Bratislava to face the Slovakians in a warm-up clash ahead of the latest qualifying campaign, which begins in September with a double-header against Czech Republic and Portugal.

The game will be held on Friday May 23 - the day before the Scottish Cup final.

Scotland will also face Bulgaria, Azerbaijan and Gibraltar in their qualifying group for the finals, which will be held in Albania and Serbia.

Scotland's youths were in action last month in Spain in a double-header of friendlies where they were crushed 6-1 by Iceland after previously defeating the Republic of Ireland 2-0 in Murcia.
