Chelsea advance with big win at Club World Cup;

Chelsea defeated Tunisia's Esperance 3-0 in their final group-stage match at the Club World Cup in the United States, securing second place in Group D with six points and advancing to the playoffs.

In Group C, Portugal’s Benfica beat Germany’s Bayern Munich 1-0, finishing top of the group with seven points. Bayern qualified in second place with six points.

New Zealand’s Auckland City drew 1-1 with Argentina’s Boca Juniors. Boca took the lead through an own goal by Nathan Garratt, while Christian Grey equalized.
