Azerbaijan finishes European youth weightlifting championship with 7 medals

Azerbaijan ended its campaign at the European Youth Weightlifting Championship in Madrid with a total of seven medals — three gold and four silver.

On the final day, 15-year-old Muhammedali Mammadzade won two silver medals in the 88 kg category, lifting 122 kg in the snatch and 269 kg in total.

Earlier, Musab Mammadtaghiyev (56 kg, U-15) claimed two golds and one silver, while Latifa Aliyeva (71 kg, U-15) took one gold and one silver.
