Qarabag to host Chelsea in Baku in Champions League

Azerbaijan’s Qarabag have learned their Champions League opponents following Thursday’s draw. The Aghdam side will face Chelsea and Liverpool from England, Portugal’s Benfica, Germany’s Eintracht, the Netherlands’ Ajax, Italy’s Napoli, Spain’s Athletic Bilbao and Denmark’s Copenhagen.

Qarabag will host Chelsea, Eintracht, Ajax and Copenhagen in Baku, while travelling away to Liverpool, Benfica, Napoli and Athletic. The group stage kicks off on Sept. 16–18, with the full schedule to be announced later.
