Sevilla reduce debt to €66 million, club president says

Spanish football club Sevilla have reduced their debt to €66 million, president Jose Maria del Nido said, according to local media.

Del Nido acknowledged that the absence from European competitions had complicated the club’s financial situation but stressed that the overall debt had fallen significantly.

Two years ago, Sevilla’s debt had exceeded €200 million.
