The Spain player would have preferred to return to Arsenal, who have first option on him, but have opted not to exercise it, having secured the services of Mesut Ozil last summer.Paper Round's view: Despite Arsenal's rejection, Fabregas is "sanguine" about the situation, according to the report. And why wouldn't he be? Terry is equally disliked by pretty much anyone who isn't a Chelsea fan, but whether he can find some kind of redemption on the telly is a big risk for ITV.
