The North Atlantic Alliance will remain regional, but it must work with partners in the Indo-Pacific region to respond to global challenges, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said at a press conference in Brussels.

"NATO will remain a regional alliance of Europe and North America, but we face global challenges, so we need to work more closely with partners, including in the Indo-Pacific region, to defend our values and interests," he said.
