Strengthening Russia's sovereignty 'main task', Putin says

Strengthening Russia's sovereignty is an important issue for the country, Russian President Vladimir Putin said during a 'Direct Line' with citizens and a large press conference with journalists.

The Russian leader said Russia simply cannot exist without this. He called financial and technological sovereignty the main thing for the existence of any country.
