Sumgait has hosted the Mugam Festival as part of the Young Mugam Fans Music Festival, supported by the Youth Fund under the President of Azerbaijan.The festival held at the Nariman Narimanov Cultural House was opened by project manager Eyvaz Gojayev, who noted that the festival involves young talented mugam singers selected in Sumgait, APA reports.Young mugam singers Fariz Isgandarov, Shamo Gadirov, Teymur Azizli, Dashgin Piriyev, Gulnar Alakbarli and Sadig Gasimov perfomed at the event.They were accompanied by Elnur Aliyev (tar) and Shahriyar Musayev (kamancha).
