A Beatles superfan has spent more than £10,000 on a giant memorabilia collection dedicated to the band - and has now marked the group's 50th anniversary with a tattoo covering her whole back.

Beatles-mad Jenn Cormack, 29, from Vancouver, Canada, sat for 50 hours while the giant tattoo was inked onto her back. The tattoo, which covers the whole of Jennifer's back, is made up of Beatles-related images including a pink walrus, a yellow submarine, diamonds in the sky, a strawberry field as well as the instruments of the band members.Jenn said: ‘I knew I had wanted to get another tattoo for a couple years, but wasn't exactly sure what to get. Then it hit me one day - I wanted to get the Beatles' instruments tattooed on me.‘The black-and-white instruments in the middle represent the early years, and everything surrounding the instruments, represents the colourful, psychedelic years.’Beatles-mad Jenn has been a fan of the band since childhood and has spent the last 15 years collecting as much memorabilia as she can - she even tours with a Beatles tribute band for her job.Jenn said: ‘I've been into music for as long as I can remember and one of my earliest memories is listening to my Dad's Sgt. Pepper tape over and over again.‘I've always picked up Beatles nicknaks but the Beatles collecting has really gone into overdrive the past few years.'Jenn's most valuable piece is a signed programme from a Beatles' Hong Kong show in 1964 which cost her £6,000.Jenn said: ‘Ringo's autograph is missing, as he was sick with tonsillitis but it is still incredible.'In Jenn's collection she has books, records, original photos and lot's of themed memorabilia, worth over £10,000.Jenn's aspiration is to get her idol, Sir Paul McCartney to sign her back, so she can add it to her giant tattoo. She has been attending as many gigs as she can and has started a Facebook group asking for people who would be happy to hold up signs saying: ‘Paul - sign Jenn's tattoo.’Jenn said: ‘I have made lots of friends who are also into the Beatles. Touring with the Fabfourever is every Beatles geek's dream.'For a birthday party, Jenn has handmade Sgt Pepper outfits for herself and Terry - and four matching ones for her four daschund dogs.Jenn said: ‘The dogs looked great dressed up as Paul, John, Ringo and George and I spent ages making sure they looked the part.’(dailymail.co.uk)ANN.Az
