Eight Swedish Archer self-propelled artillery units have been delivered to Ukraine, Defense Minister Paul Johnson said in an interview with Sveriges radio station,  reported from TASS.

"This, of course, is important for Ukrainians, because the Archer system has good mobility and accuracy,” the minister noted.

In mid-August, the Swedish government announced the allocation of another package of military assistance to Ukraine for 3.4 billion kroner ($314 million). This includes ammunition for military equipment supplied to Kyiv, including the CV 90 infantry fighting vehicle, and spare parts for Strv 122 tanks and Archer self-propelled guns. 

Since February 2022, Sweden has allocated 22 billion kroner ($2.16 billion) to support Ukraine, including 17 billion kroner ($1.67 billion) in military assistance.
