A Taliban delegation led by the acting Foreign Minister of Afghanistan, Amir Khan Muttaqi, has arrived in Moscow for the "Moscow format" consultations on Afghan issues, reported from Russian media. 

During the consultations, which will be the sixth in the series, participants will discuss issues of promoting the process of expanding regional states' interaction with Kabul in political, economic, counter-terrorism, and anti-drug areas. 

The format was established in April 2017, and it involves 10 countries - Russia, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.
