And it is the second year running HTC has scooped the Phone of the Year award at the technology bible T3 awards tonight.T3 editor Tom Dennis said: “This year’s awards have been as prestigious and as popular as ever, combining expert industry judges and T3’s tech-savvy readers in deciding the greats of the technology world.”The glittering ceremony saw billionaire British inventor Sir James Dyson crowned Tech Legend by a leading gadget magazine.The creator of the world’s first bagless vacuum, bladeless fan and now a revolutionary robot vacuum that puts itself away.Hosted by technology bible T3, Sir James was awarded the gong for “outstanding services to consumer technology” but confessed  “the best ideas are not all mine”.Paying tribute to his team of boffins he added: “It is Dyson’s 2,000 sparky engineers and scientists who should take the credit.
