Balanced on one leg and staring into the camera, this frog assumes the crane kick martial arts stance made famous in the movie Karate Kid.
The kung-fu fighting frog, pictured in East Java in Indonesia, holds the same pose as actor Ralph Macchio in the 1984 iconic film.
The flying frog was photographed by Monica Anatyowati after she spotted the frog practicing its moves in a field in Jember, a city in eastern East Java.
The 42-year-old, from Malang in East Java, said: 'I spotted this frog leaping around in some long grass and noticed it started pulling these funny moves.
'I was unsure of what it was doing, however soon it was showing off like a true kung-fu master.
'I was very interested in this frog and it was very tame, which made it easy to photograph.'
The Reinwardt's flying frog, a species native to Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand, is classed as a near threatened species by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).
Ms Anatyowati said: 'Whenever people see these photographs, they ask me what this frog is actually doing, and truth be told I think it was getting ready to jump to a high branch!
'However, for me it is always amazing to take such brilliant action shots like this.'
