A bizarre video of a hamster doing backflips from inside its food bowl while its pals look on in confusion has gone viral.
The video was filmed in Russia and appears to have taken place in a pet shop, although the exact location is not known.
In the clip the hamster wanders into its food bowl and after getting its balance falls backwards to perform what looks like a flip.
After landing on its back it quickly springs to its feet and returns to the bowl to perform the same trick again.
A woman in the pet shop can be heard laughing hysterically as the animal continually gets itself into position for the party trick.
Eventually it scuttles off and backflips away from the bowl before returning one last time to carry on.
Since being posted to YouTube under the title 'I think this hamster is broken', the clip has been viewed more than 215,000 times.
