The opening ceremony of the "INMerge Innovation Summit” took place on October 10, 2024, in Baku, organized by PASHA Holding. Spanning two days, the summit aims to contribute to the development of the region’s innovation ecosystem, foster collaboration between startups and investors, and provide a platform for the exchange of ideas and experiences among participants.

At the summit, key topics such as "Fintech,” "Telecommunications,” "E-commerce,” "Artificial Intelligence,” and "Marketing” are being discussed by local and international experts, all of which are central to global attention.

The event featured speeches from prominent figures, including the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mikayil Jabbarov, the Minister of Digital Development and Transport, Rashad Nabiyev, the CEO of PASHA Holding, Jalal Gasimov, and the Chairman of the Management Board and CEO of Kapital Bank, Farid Huseynov, who shared their insights and experiences.

In his opening remarks, PASHA Holding CEO Jalal Gasimov emphasized the importance of the summit: "As one of the region’s key economic players, we are committed to fostering development within the wider community. Innovation is more than just a concept to us—it signifies progress. Through this summit, we are contributing meaningfully to the advancement of the regional innovation ecosystem”.

The first day of the event was marked by presentations from global and local speakers, including YouTube co-founder Steve Chen, Harvard Business School professor Linda Hill, and other notable figures. On the second day, renowned speakers such as Starbucks co-founder Zev Siegl, Amazon Chief Technology Officer Werner Vogels, and Waze founder Uri Levine will take the stage.

As part of the summit, Kapital Bank’s Chairman of the Management Board, Farid Huseynov, participated in the "Fintech” panel, where he discussed the latest innovations in payment solutions and how these technologies benefit customers. His remarks highlighted Kapital Bank’s ongoing contribution to the development of financial technologies and its leadership in this sector.

Additionally, Kapital Bank’s stand at the "INMerge” Innovation Summit attracted significant attention from visitors. Attendees had the opportunity to explore virtual reality (VR) technology and discover various products and services, making the stand one of the event’s most popular attractions.
