Arrest term for the former head of the Antiterrorist Center of Azerbaijan's abolished National Security Ministry, Major-General Elchin Guliyev, was extended for four months on April 21.
This decision was made by the Baku City Sabail District Court. Elchin Guliyev was detained Dec. 25, 2015, and was sentenced to four months in prison.
He is charged under several articles of the Criminal Code within the criminal case initiated by the Grave Crimes Investigation Department at the Prosecutor General's Office.
