The French photographer, who has lived in Vietnam for the last three years after falling in love with the country, has released his latest series, Eyes of the World.

Speaking about his latest set of images, which he posts on his popular Facebook page, the snapper said: 'I'm a portrait photographer and I think a good photograph is when you can capture the soul, read a story in the eyes.'

One of the most striking images in his set is of seven-year-old An Phuoc, who has piercingly blue eyes and gazes into the camera wearing a blue shawl as vibrant as her eyes. 

Alongside the picture is a caption reading: 'Sometimes, eyes can express more than words. Can you read in her eyes?'.

There's also an image of a 103-year-old lady from The Rengao Ethnic Group Vietnam, who smiles gleefully with tears in her eyes and her wrinkled hands cupping her face.

Other stars of his series include 'little boy from the minority Ta Oi', 'happy man met in the streets of La Habana' and 'little girl Bajau', who Réhahn says he met in an island near Borneo. 

Réhahn's thought-provoking pictures have earned him a strong following of over 232,000 Facebook fans, a series of book deals and his work is featured in a gallery in Hoi An and Versailles (Ici Et Ailleurs).

Born in 1979 in Normandy, France, Réhahn explains on his Facebook bio that he has always lived with a passion for travel and photography.

He says he travels to meet people and capture the 'most natural moment of the individuals he has encountered.' 

The photographer spends most of his time travelling and meeting new people, whether it is locals or tourists, to search for the perfect photo. 

He has now spent seven years in Vietnam travelling on his motorbike and captured over 40,000 photos en route. 

'It is only through these far away places that Réhahn learns of new cultures and most importantly, learns to take photo in his very own special way,' reads his bio.
