This is the creepy moment thousands of birds flying over New York merged to form the face of Vladimir Putin.
Like something out of Hitchcock's The Birds, Sheryl Gilbert captured the flock of undulating birds moving across the sky as she crossed the Williamsburg Bridge in Brooklyn last week.
With the Manhattan Bridge visible in the background, the Russian leader's face is visible for just a split-second in the brief clip filmed from a tourist bus.
Gregory West, who appears to be Gilbert's husband, tweeted the video, asking users: 'Saw it several days ago during a trip and that's amazing! Can you see the face? Who is it?'
Suggestions included Steve Jobs and Robin Williams - but the vast majority of comments simply comments on the creepiness of the clip.
And while it is not confirmed if the video is authentic, it caught the eye of Russian TV channel Zvezda - who spotted the striking resemblance to Putin.
Since it was uploaded on Tuesday, the 11-second clip has amassed more than a million views on YouTube, with many users branding the video a fake.
But it has also attracted hundreds of comments from Russians, who note the resemblance of the face in the sky to their President.
One Russian commenter said: 'This is a warning to the United States not to start a war with Russia.'
But another joked: 'Look up in the sky! It's a bird! It's a plane! No, it's a Super Putin!
