Three Azerbaijani army servicemen were killed and four others injured in a landmine explosion close to the ceasefire line in Fuzuli District, the Ministry of Defense said.

The landmine went off while the soldiers were carrying out “trench fortification”, the ministry said.

The dead included Captain Ceyhun Orucaliyev and soldiers Novruz Abdullayev and Seyfaddin Karimov.

Servicemen Bahruz Musayev, Sadiq Cabrayilov, Emin Talibov and Azar Isgandarzada suffered injuries of varying severity, the ministry said.
