Turkey's military operation in Syrian Afrin region negatively affected the coalition's struggle lwith the ISİL in the east of Syria,  US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said this Tuesday in Kuwait, APA reports quoting RIA Novosti.
 
On Tuesday, in the Kuwaiti capital, in the margins of the international forum for the post-war reconstruction of Iraq, an extraordinary ministerial meeting of the coalition led by the United States against IG took place. The meeting was held for the first time after official statements about the victory over the terrorist group in Iraq and Syria.
 
"The situation in Afrin affected the course of our battle with the ISİL faction in the east of Syria, after the forces (Kurdish units) went from there to Afrin, I think it is important for Turkey to be aware of the consequences (of the military operation) for our tasks, which is the victory over ISİL, " the Secretary of State said at a press conference held after the ministerial meeting.
