The broadcast of US President Donald Trump's inauguration ceremony attracted more than 24 million television viewers on Monday.

Reported from Nielsen that, according to calculations, an average of 24.6 million people watched the broadcast of Trump's assumption of office as head of state from 10:30 local time (19:30 Baku time) until 19:00 (04:00 Baku time on January 21).

The event was broadcast live by 15 television networks.

Four years ago, according to Nielsen data, 33.8 million TV viewers watched the inauguration of Trump's predecessor Joe Biden. In 2017, approximately 31 million people watched Trump's inauguration.
