Turkish delegation arrives in Gaza to prepare for deployment of field hospital

A delegation of specialists from Türkiye has arrived in the Gaza Strip to carry out preparatory work to establish a field hospital, a diplomatic source in Ankara told TASS.
"This morning, a technical delegation arrived in Gaza through Egypt. It will develop a feasibility study as part of plans for the deployment of a field hospital that we intend to create in Gaza,” the agency’s source said.
He noted that Ankara "plans to put the hospital into operation as soon as possible,” and the timing "will depend on the results of the work of this delegation.”
On November 23, the head of the Turkish Ministry of Health, Fahrettin Koca, announced contacts with Egypt and Israel on the deployment of a field hospital in the Palestinian enclave. He noted that a coordination group already visited the Arab Republic to discuss this issue and choose the location of the medical facility.
