It won't be possible to achieve peace if contact between Russia and Ukraine does not continue, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said.

"For us, the war will end at the negotiating table. A just peace must be achieved. Of course, Ukrainian lands are under occupation. None of the parties will accept a unilateral peace," he said.

According to Cavusoglu, it is very difficult to predict the outcome of the war in Ukraine: "We have good relations with both sides. That is why we did not join the sanctions against Moscow. On the contrary, despite being a NATO country, we continued our contact with Russia."
