The participation of the Azerbaijani leader in the opening of Rize-Artvin Airport in Turkiye is one of the important messages given to the world community, Yunus Kilic, a member of the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) in the Turkish Grand National Assembly from Kars, said in an interview with journalists.

"I think that the participation of the President of Azerbaijan in the opening of Rize-Artvin Airport and the grand opening speech are aimed at continuing this policy," the deputy noted.

Yunus Kilic stressed that the level of unity between Azerbaijan and Turkiye is known to the world.

"We deeply understand the importance and essence of such reciprocal visits. What is more important is to prove once again to the world community and the international tribunal that this union is unshakable. Azerbaijan's foreign policy in the interests of the Turkish state and Turkiye's unequivocal position in the Second Karabakh War under the leadership of Recep Tayyip Erdogan are the main examples of solidarity between the two brotherly countries," Yunus Kilic said.
